The sun was out at the weekend and thoughts once more turned to renewable energy. Time for another NIEVO meet.
This time we’re visiting Solmatix Renewables. Part of the Harvey Group, they specialise in the fabrication, supply and installation of high quality renewable energy systems (Solar PV, Solar Water Heating / Storage and Biomass Boilers).
The company has 49.5kW of solar PV installed on its own roof and to maximise the benefits it’s coupled to an Arbarr battery storage system. Also on site is a rainwater harvesting system, a Biomass boiler and an intelligent electrical system.
